Personal Statement
I have a strong passion for volleyball and everything else that comes with it. Pursuing a career in volleyball and having good academics is a top priority for me. I surround myself with people who support me in all things, and always push me to succeed, and be a hard worker. I love when my coaches and teammates push me mentally and physically to be the best I can be, and perform well for them.
These past few years I have learned that pushing yourself to your full potential and always working for the end result is the best mentality to be in. That means training in the off season, working extra hard on and off the court, lifting up your teammates when they are down, and especially being strong in your academics. I also am very competitive. If I make a mistake I am constantly hoping that I fix that mistake. What happens in the past on the court you can't control, but you CAN fix what you do to make sure that mistake doesn't happen again. I always want to win.
Music is also a big part of my life. Competing in band competitions and playing saxophone is very relaxing and also fun to fill people with joy when we play. Not only do I play an instrument, but I am also very committed to other sports. Basketball and Softball help me be a leader in my school and push me to be my best. I always make sure that I am staying busy and doing what I can for my school athletics!
My goal is to go to college and get a degree in law. This past summer me and other students from my school went to Washington D.C for a trip. That trip, I got to see everything that has to do with law making me see the importance law has on our country and I want to be a part of that! I love traveling, so doing that was an amazing experience!
