Amanda Feils '11 Recruiting Profile

Hello, My name is Amanda Feils. I was raised and educated in the small town of Wabasha. I have always been a good student and actually enjoyed school and the subjects that were offered to me. Most my life I played volleyball and fell in love with the sport. I always was ready to go play no matter if we had just finished for the day. Always being the tallest on my team I knew I had something special that I shoul dkeep working at and become the best that i could become. With this idea in mind I played on my schools J.O. team for many years. I am currently 6'1" and 150-155 lbs. I have had 2 years of starting varsity experience so far and am very much hoping to continue on into the world of college volleyball. It is my hope and goal to become a college athlete. I am the type of person who when I do something wrong I want to correct it even if it is a minor thing. I am open to anthing when it comes to school size but would like to stay within 1-2 states of my hometown. I have not yet decided on my major and am still trying to figure those details out. My goals athleticly are to be on a college team and be a part of that team weather it be a practice player or a starter. I want to make an impact on the team and do what is best for them. My coach has always told us "everyone has a role on a team, weather it be a starter or a practice player, they are neccasary to get where we want to go."
