Experiencing the Missouri State volleyball tournament as a freshman was a memory I will never forget. Even though we did not win, it was an experience that prepared me for the rest of my high school career. As a sophomore we had the chance to compete for the state title against one of our rivals during the regular season. We ended up taking home the second place trophy, but that re-focused me to become an awesome DS for my future career. As a Junior, we dropped down a class, but that did not mean we stopped reaching for our max potential. We had the chance to play in the State Championship game again and we won, taking home the Missouri State Championship title.
Since I have been able to win 2nd, 3rd, and a 1st place State Championship in Missouri, that has pushed me to learn the value of what it takes to reach the next level. I have learned the value of what it takes to sacrifice my time to be committed, be a better teammate, and be a better leader to the others to follow me. I am looking for a program that will fit me academically and athletically. I believe I have what it takes to have an impact on your program. I know I have what it takes to make it to the next level on a college team!
