Personal Statement
Hi, My name is Dru Iles. I would love to play volleyball in college. I take practice time as seriously as game time and I think constructive feedback is so important to help me continue to grow as a player, student and adult. Playing other positions (Outside Right Side, Libero, DS) has helped me better understand my role as a setter. My teammates are my family and I like being able to have fun and laugh while still working hard. I have not decided on a major yet but I am leaning towards a Business degree. Volleyball has taught me so many things that I will need as a student athlete and in life: confidence, patience, how to be a good teammate and that it's ok to fail if you can learn from it.
