Personal Statement
I would like to pursue my degree in Psychology, and also be able to continue playing volleyball at the college level. This year was quite a ride for me and my teammates, for the first time in 24 years we achieved our goal of competing at the State championships. Now I would like to compete at the NCAA National championship with another group of ladies that have the same desire as mine. I have always been the person to whom my friends have come to when they need to talk or discuss something that is bothering them. Therefore, I feel being in the field of Pshchology would fit me very well. I love to be on the court and be in control of the game. I like the competition, and seeing if I can read my opponents, but also playing with a group of girls that have the same goal as mine. Some of my best memories so far are the past 4 years as a varsity player, with good friends and teammates, setting goals and attaining them together.
