Personal Statement
I began playing volleyball at the age of 8 and have loved the game ever since. From the very beginning I have worked to further my skills to play at the next level year after year. I have been fortunate to play with great coaches and teammates who have had a tremendous influence on the person and player I am today. My goal is to continue working hard to obtain a college scholarship through academics and athletics. I take pride in my performance in the classroom and on the court and I want to attend a college where I will be pushed to succeed personally, academically, and athletically.
Academics are extremely important to me, and I am currently enrolled in all honors core classes and hold a 4.43 GPA. I plan on maintaining my high academic standards with hopes of attending medical school in the future. I am a very driven, hardworking, and enthusiastic player and student who strives to achieve success. I have been very blessed to be able to play the game I love and would feel very fortunate to continue at the collegiate level.
