My name is Olivia Abshire, I am a 5'7" DS/Libero from Troy, Missouri. I have a weighted GPA of 3.87 on a 4.00 scale. I like to challenge myself at school and am currently taking honors and college classes.
In college, I plan to earn a bachelor's degree in biomedical science. I then plan to job shadow in local hospitals and earn a certificate in diagnostic medical sonography in hopes of becoming an ultra-sound technician. Aside from my academic college aspirations, I am also planning on taking part in a few extra-curricular clubs.
I am a good candidate because I hold myself accountable for making changes that will help to better myself and my team. I truly believe that volleyball is the most team oriented sport out there. All 6 on the court need to work well together in order to succeed together. That being said, I enjoy taking the time to really get to know my teammates because everybody operates differently on the court, and if we recognize that, then I feel that we will all work better as a team!
