Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball in 3rd grade when a local coach from another school put on a skill or learning camp. After those camps, I knew how much I loved volleyball and how I wanted to play forever. I never thought it was possible to play at the collegiate level coming from a town like West Yellowstone. Volleyball became a major outlet for me. It brought me joy and I felt like I was finally able to be myself. Volleyball gave me the opportunity to be part of a team and a family. I can strengthen the relationships with my friends, teammates, and coaches. I love to put in extra work and effort every day in practice, games, and the off-season. Not only do I want to play hard for myself but also for my team. Ultimately, they are my Why. Why I enjoy playing and want to play for as long as I can.
