Personal Statement
Before playing volleyball I played every possible sport there was. My parents put me in everything from soccer to bowling and nothing stuck. The first time I played volleyball I was 12 years old and since that day there isn't a day that goes by that I don't try to get some touches on the ball. I spend every possible minute in the gym practicing to become a faster, stronger, better version of myself.
Being on a volleyball team has taught me so many things. Besides just the importance of teamwork and dedication, it also has made me feel the incredible camaraderie of being on a team and experiencing the great highs of the excitement of winning medals and trophies to the lows of losses and learning how to deal with both and everything in between. I make it a point to always be a positive, upbeat voice on my team to keep the energy up and morale high.
My goal is to continue playing the sport I love while continuing my education.
