Hello, my name is Brenna Lui. I have been playing volleyball since 7th grade and it has become a passion. I love volleyball and how it takes a full team to work together to achieve something great. When playing on a court with my teammates, I want to do my best so that I can bring out the best in my teammates, “what can I do for my teammates?” is what I think this a lot before practices and games. “What can I do, to better myself and my teammates”.
This game has taught me many things about teamwork, sportsmanship, and having a strong mentality. My goal is to play college volleyball while pursuing my academic studies. I will always continue to work at staying on top of my game both on the court and in everything I do.
I had knee surgery in July 2020 and the road I am on to get me back into the game has not been easy but I am determined. I currently play club at Northern Nevada Juniors Volleyball Club to strengthen my skill level, to learn more, and develop as an individual player and a teammate.
