Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Sofia Mattingly, and I can't imagine a life without volleyball. I am a Senior at Morris Catholic High School in Denville, New Jersey, and I am will be playing my final year of club on the Xtreme 18 Open team this winter.  I have been playing volleyball for 8 years now and this will be my fifth year playing club.  I have fallen in love with this sport and hope I can continue playing in college, where I plan on studying to be an athletic trainer/physical therapist. The thought of continuing to work hard and keep getting better excites me more than anything.
