My collegiate goal is to attend an institution that will help me be successful in obtaining a degree in Child Psychology. I am currently a senior in high school and working hard academically and athletically. My goal is to continue working hard and obtain a volleyball scholarship. What makes me a good candidate for a team is having a positive mindset. Not only will I work hard for myself but I will always work hard for my team. I‘ve always strived for success and when failure occurs, I work hard and never give up. Something that makes me different from other recruits is my resiliency in any type of situation. Along with resiliency it has also taught me to be humble. Another important characteristic I posses is passion. I’ve always been passionate when it comes to my family, faith, school and sports. Something that may set me aside from other athletes has always been my size. This has always been something that has encouraged me to prove people wrong who said I couldn’t. I excelled in volleyball, basketball and softball since the age of 6 and I have never let my size get in the way of success. I always loved playing sports and understood that in order to be successful I also had to be successful academically. I learned at a very young age to have organizational skills so that I could manage sports and academics successfully. Due to my organizational skills and academic achievements it has helped me to get in to the National Honor Society which I am currently still active in. If given the opportunity to play at the college level, I will continue to work hard for my school, team, coaches and myself.
