Jenna Wagner '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jenna Margarette Wagner. I am 6'0 and I weigh 145 pounds. My primary position is middle hitter/blocker, but I can do it all. I am usually the first girl at practice and the last to leave. The coaches usually have to kick me out of the gym. My goal and dream every year entering my volleyball season is to be a state champ. Another goal that comes with that is to make all district and all state 1st team. I have always been the athlete that doesn't settle for second best. Since I have been playing at the varsity level since my freshman year, being coachable has never been an issue for me. I am a quick learner. I am a leader, a motivator, and I believe I am also an example of what a student-athlete should be on and off the court. My attitude is always positive and I deal with frustration by correcting myself over and over again until I get it right. I play volleyball because I absolutely love the game. I believe that being an athlete makes you a stronger person in all aspects of life and I know it has worked for me. I want to continue taking my athletic ability to the next level. I am up for the challenge!
