My name is Jonaldy Edouard and I'm 17 years old. I am currently a senior in Urban Action Academy, an high school located in brooklyn, NY.

I recently came to the United States in february 2010, after the shocking earthquake that shook Haiti in seconds. I started school in march 2010. It wasn'teasy at first because i didn't know how to speak english and also because of the lack of credits since I came at the end of the school year. I've worked hard since then and now I have almost all of my senior credits.

Learning a new language and adaptating to a new school isn't easy but nothing comes easy in life and so i am willing to make sacrifices to achieve my goals. Volleyball is my passion and I believe that i have the heart and potential to be a great volleyball player . But before that, I am an athlete .
