Melissa Tringali '16 Recruiting Profile

     I love volleyball because of its intensity, fast pace, and team orientation. My goal is to play volleyball at the collegiate level and I feel my leadership qualities and strong work ethic will help me accomplish this. I strive for perfection, especially when delivering a great pass to my setter.

     As a two-year starting libero for Haldane High School, I have played in two NY State Championship finals, one resulting in a victory. I have been named to the All-Conference team twice and this year, the All-State second team. As co-captain of the 17 National team, this is my fifth year playing at a National level for Downstate Juniors VBC. Each experience has further strengthened my volleyball IQ and shaped me as a player. When searching for the right college, academics are extremely important to me. I work hard in school by maintaining a 4.0 GPA and excelling in classes. I hope that I can prove my ability and take my performance to the next level at whichever school I choose to attend.
