Hi! My name is Aaliyah Kowalewski, I am a current Junior at Cuba-Rushford Central School. I have been playing volleyball since I was in seventh grade, have played club volleyball since I was in eighth grade, and just this past spring, I picked up beach volleyball as well.. I have been setting/attacking since 9th grade. I played on the JV level during my freshman and sophomore years as a starter, however, at the end of my freshman year I was asked to dress for sectional games on my varsity team, and my sophomore year, after I played in my JV game I was then asked to sit and sometimes play in the varsity game right after. I was officially on Varsity this past year. I didn't start but still received playing time, setting, and attacking on both the opposite and left side, but due to an injury, I was out the last half of the season. As for club volleyball I played for the Octane Rebels from eighth through tenth grade as a starter. This year, however, I tried out for Niagara Frontier Volleyball Club and am a starting setter and sometimes I attack as well. Not only do I play volleyball, but I am a part of several other clubs at my school, including FFA (Future Farmers of America), National Honors Society, Student Council, Spanish Club, and Yearbook. I was also an officer for the class of 2026. I am a very active member of my community participating in many community service opportunities. My goal for the next coming years is to attend a college that has a physician assistant program and will accept the 51+ college credits I will have by the time I graduate. My goal is to play volleyball in college if the opportunity presents itself. I am a very driven person in the classroom and on the court. I am coachable and always put my best foot forward.
