Hello! I'm a sophomore OH/DS and I'm super pumped to have made varsity this school season. When I was in seventh grade, it was in the middle of the pandemic and everyone was just sitting at home. I had a friend ask if I'd be interested in trying out for volleyball, just for fun. I agreed, although I had no previous experience. I thought it would be a one and done. I got cut. I was asked to be the team manager and accepted. All I remember thinking at those games was how much I wanted to be on the team. I didn't realize how much it meant to me until I was already signing up for a club and staying up watching footage of random high school games. The next season I came back! I was on my first school team, and so in love with the sport. That club season I found out how fun a team can be, making strong bonds and friendships with peers and coaches. I came back my freshman year and tried out for JV, made it, and was voted captain. I played on a competitive 15U team after a successful JV record. Now I'm back my second year of high school, on varsity, playing tougher competition and loving every second of it. Volleyball is where I find my motivation and passion. I can't wait to keep taking it to the next level, and eventually play in college. See you in 2026!
