From experience, I've found it easier to single out the things that truly matter to me and focus on improving those areas of my life. My first concerns would be my faith and my family. That aside, however, my main priority is to improve myself in volleyball. In order to do so, I find it is very important to maintain my grades in order to have a solid base to find the school of my dreams. I want to play volleyball at the highest level possible. After college, I hope to become a journalist or to do something which involves using media to reach people. On the side, I love nutrition and physical fitness as interests. This is most likely due in part to my food intolerances which have made me more conscious of how I treat my body. Another hobby I have is singing. These activities are merely things I enjoy, but nothing compares to my feelings for volleyball, which is a means of releasing my competitive nature and is something I have fallen in love with. I work every day to improve my game so that I can play at the highest level possible and challenge myself. I try to focus on the moment and the task at hand, the next drill, the next dig, the next swing. "Focus on the journey, not the destination. Joy is found not in finishing an activity but in doing it." Greg Anderson
