Kyrsten Victorio '22 Recruiting Profile

I started playing volleyball at 6 years old, and ever since I began to practice I grew a huge love for the sport itself and that I’d want to play it and compete seriously. Winning the championships for 6 consecutive years in CYO straight was the biggest accomplishment that mattered to me the most. Even though I saw that I improved, I feel like I learned more later on.

After joining 3 different clubs throughout the years, I learned so much more than just the fundamentals of volleyball. As a result of being a leader-like figure in my club, I learned about the effects of mentality, chemistry with other players, and different coaching styles. This helped my team and I for taking 1st place in tournaments such as GEVA Regional Finals and Northeast Qualifier, even though we were a team that used to lose so often for a long period of time. As a determined player with 7 years of competing in indoor, outdoor, beach, and grass, I believe I have what it takes to be on your team!
