Anna Malbone '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Anna Malbone. I am currently attending Wayne Central high school and in the graduating class of 2023. My college ambitions are to continue playing volleyball at a competitive level as well as maintaining high academic standards. Volleyball has been a big part of my life and transformed into something invaluable to me. Through volleyball I have learned leadership, communication, teamwork and accountability traits that have helped me become a more well rounded person. I have been a setter throughout my career on both my high school and travel teams. I will be a three year varsity player for my high school team and a six year travel team athlete (Volleyfx). Some of my accomplishments include being a team captain, 2021-2022 Finger Lakes East 1st team all star, 2021-2022 coaches award, and 2021-2022 Section V class "B" all star. During the 2021-2022 season our team was the section V class campions as well as league champs, while I ran a 5-1 as the setter.  While athletics is very important to me, my academics is equally as significant. I strive for excellence, constantly pushing myself to improve. I would like to attend a college with high academic standards. I'm excited to see what college will offer on and off the court.
