Elizabeth Della Rocca '18 Recruiting Profile

I fell in love with the sport of volleyball the first time I stepped on that court eight years ago.  For me, it is a break from reality, and a part of my day where I do not need to worry about anything except for the game right in front of me.   I have been a captain of every club team I have been apart of, as well as on my school team, and love being someone my teammates can go to on and off the court.  In addition, I always try my best to give 110% during every match, but also remember to have fun.  One of my favorite aspects of volleyball is that it truly is a team sport, and that no one individual can win the game on her own.  Although I have been a setter since I started playing, I am always open to learning new skills and techniques on how to improve. I take a lot of pride in being a consistent passer, as well as improving on my blocking skills over the past year or so. In addition, I would love to go to a school where I can meet new people, keep both academics and athletics a top priority, and overall find the best school that suits me.
