Jordan Rowe '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jordan Rowe!

I am a HS Senior and a tenacious, fearless, and stubborn Defensive Specialist/Libero! I play smart and strategically and read every opponent’s strengths and weaknesses and bring that knowledge back on the court to help lead my team for the win.

Out of the last 6 of 7 years, I have played on National Teams with some of the best clubs here in North Carolina. As a defensive athlete, there are no limits to what I will do to keep a ball in play and have always been told to be on the court when the score is tied or a 3rd set is needed for the win! Like the late, great Jimmy Valvano .... "I never give up"!

To say I am passionate about volleyball is an understatement as I eat, breath and sleep it and hope to play for as long and as competitive as I can. I am looking for strong Liberal Arts program with a focus on political science. My hope is to find the right school that offers the balance of high academics and a competitive volleyball program where I can be a strong contributor.

I work just as hard academically as I do on the court and finished my Junior year with an overall 4.17/4.0 GPA and an end of semester GPA of a 5.2.  I am a 2-time AAU Academic All-American recipient and have often been described as “very coach-able”, "overtly mature" and a “chameleon” as I am agile and can quickly evaluate and adapt to any situation.  I  believe that character and integrity mean everything and I stand with those principles in everything that I do; you will see that on and off the court!
