Taylor Melvin '20 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a sophomore playing varsity volleyball for Cape Fear High School as a libero. We made it to the 3rd round of state playoffs this year which is the farthest any volleyball team at Cape Fear has gone. I'm a very dedicated player and student. I work very hard and I always want to learn more and get better.  I am working hard in high school and travel volleyball to help me be able to play at the college level. I have also played with college players before.  I am 5'3", so I am not tall, but I have a good vertical and what I lack in height I make up for with my quickness and ability to read the court. I made all conference and all region both years of high school volleyball. I have won two academic awards and my GPA is currently a 4.125. My goal is to push myself to play at the college level and be the best libero I can be.
