Kaylee O'Brien '26 Recruiting Profile

Growing up, I always liked sports but I didn’t start to love a sport until I started playing volleyball. Ever since I had started playing volleyball on my middle school team at age 11, I quickly found my passion. I started playing club volleyball that year and realized that volleyball was a sport I would want to pursue for the rest of my life. 

Volleyball has been my life ever since I first stepped onto the court. Whether I am at home, or on the court I am always practicing to make myself the best player for my team and me. I would consider myself a hard worker, leader, and communicator. As a setter, these attributes help me and my team find success. 

I currently play at Triangle Volleyball Club on 14 Blue. I attend The Franciscan School but will move onto Leesville Road High School this fall. I have always worked hard in academics and at the moment I have a 3.93 GPA. I would love to one day take the next step of my athletic and academic career to move on and play college volleyball
