Hello, I am a volleyball player who loves the game. I started playing club volleyball my 8th grade year and my love for the sport blossomed. The coaches helped me grow and figure out what it was I loved doing and how much more fun I could have playing. At that time I was involved in two other sports, which was swimming and basketball. My freshman year was when all 3 sports became too much for me with school, so I made the decision to stop playing basketball so that I could focus my attention on volleyball and swim. I'm hoping to come out of high school having collage credit so that I can come into college prepared for what an actually college class will be like. Having this experience from high school will make my freshman year less stressful so that I will be able to focus more on being a student athlete as well.
I have a huge heart that I wear proudly on my sleeve, and a strong drive to play at a collegiate level. I'm good with time management, team bonding, direction following, being under pressure, and trying to help make sure my teammates stay in the right state of mind during a match. I thrive in blocking, consistency, serving, particularly short serves, and being a team player. Things that I would like to get better at are passing, hitting with more power and speed.
Becoming a part of a college team at a school that is the right fit for me academically as well, is what I am looking for. Having the support of the team coming into college will help with the transition and something I am looking forward to in my next phase of my life.
