My goal not only on the court but also off the court, is to be the best team player I can be. This goal is not just about one piece, it is about skill level, playing, and communication. It is about responsibilities and respect for not just my teammates and coaches but also myself. Over my two years of playing volleyball, I have learned many new things about skill and how the mind can control your playing and attitude. Ever since I gained the love and passion for this sport, I knew that I was going to dedicate not just my high school years but also my career to volleyball. I love every single feeling and sensation it brings. The feeling of getting an amazing dig, hit, or a good float serve brings me so much joy. I feel like I accomplished something so big when it is just some of the smallest movements you can make. The excitement you get for your teammates when they do something so great brings literal chills. Every single bruise, cut, sprain, strain, or injury could not make me quit this sport. It is not only a physical battle but a mental battle. Making mistakes can destroy you, but when you come to the realization that mistakes are normal and make you better, it doesn't seem so bad. As a player I am well-rounded, I have played MB, OPP, and OH. Although I play better in different areas on the court, at the end of the day it all comes down to very similar movements and plays. Every class I have taken in high school has been an Honors class, and I have never gotten below B on a report card. When I push myself, it makes me feel good about myself whether in grades or in athletics. On and off the court I am a very helpful person, I enjoy making others smile and laugh. I tend to be very peppy and bubbly, when I see I help others feel better it makes me happy to know that I have people who can count on and rely on me.
