Jennifer Vanvleet '11 Recruiting Profile

"She tries too hard" is what many of my coaches have said about me before. I never give up on any play. I go 110% all the time. I have a passion for the game and love competition. I have been put in sticky situations where I was looked upon to make a play, and relied on to win games. I love to be challenged. My sophomore year I dressed Varsity half way through the season and seen some playing time, about one game per match. During tournaments, our team was losing, and it was a big game, my coaches pulled me off the bench and expected me to play and make things happen. I went in so nervous, but made some very crucial plays. I also play basketball and softball, where I am also seen as a very crucial part of our team. I am always expected and looked upon by my coaches. I have a great sense of responsibility and leadership and I always play hard. I rely very much on my team, I love working with them and making great plays and accomplishing our goals together.
