Madison Topczewski '18 Recruiting Profile

I began playing volleyball at the age of 9, fell in love with the game.  Each year since I have continued to grow as a player, person and teammate.  Playing JO and school ball all these years has been such a great experience and I am always striving to play at the next level which includes being a collegiate athlete.   I did have a major set back in what was a very critical year of playing.  During one of the first open gyms the summer going into my sophomore year of High School, I tore my ACL and so that meant not only missing my High School season, which I made the Varsity team, but also my JO season.  I would spend that time rehabing from successful ACL surgery.   This was a huge challange both mentally and physicall but I was determined to make it back and spent most days rehabing but still attended most every practice and game.  Sophomore year I was awarded the "Explorer Award" which recognized my love for the game.  Fully recovered now as a Junior I am playing Outside Hitter on the Varsity.  lastly and importantly, I continue to maintain a very strong academic record.
