My desire is to study to become a neonatal nurse and play volleyball while doing so. Ever since I first started playing in third grade, volleyball has helped me develop many qualities that are useful both on and off the court. Being a setter has taught me leadership, discipline, competitiveness, determination, and decision-making skills. All of these aspects have especially helped me in the classroom, assisting me in achieving merit honor roll every nine weeks, Student of the Month, a cumulative GPA of 4.023, and working towards an honors diploma. I like to lead by example and motivate my teammates and others around me to work hard and do everything to the best of our ability. I work hard at everything I do and this has helped me become a versatile player, as a setter and a hitter. These qualities will help me excel in my collegiate goals, both in the classroom and on the court.
