I’ve played sports starting at the age of 4. I have played soccer, softball, basketball and of course volleyball. As well as done gymnastics and track. Ever since I was young, I’ve always wanted to attend college. It’s always been a dream of mine to attend a HBCU in which I would play volleyball at. My plan is to go into Journalism and study African American history. I was never the best at volleyball growing up and never really put myself out there in that aspect. Freshman year, I barely even got much time on the court which created doubt in whether or not to play my sophomore year. Thankfully, my mind changed quickly. Sophomore year I was the starting MB and decided to play for my local club team. Junior year, I truly realized that this was my sport and I loved every second of this game. I take pride in being a student athlete and can’t wait to continue my journey to college.
