2014 HS SeasonPersonal Statement
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to view my profile. I am a 6'1" middle blocker primarily, but I am very versatile with all hitting positions on the court. I am currently a junior in high school, and I am looking to play at the next level. I am looking for the perfect fit, where I am challenged academically and can continue to play competitively.
A few things that are not captured in the video are my energy on the court, my work ethic, and my leadership. I am not the kind of player, or person that does anything less than 100% on or off the court. I enjoy working hard, and I enjoy even more seeing that hard work pay off. As a junior, I was named co-captain of the varsity team at Lake Catholic High School. Our record was 21-4, and we accomplished great things together. I am proud to be named All-Ohio second team for Division II. I was also nominated as a Division II Volleyball All Star and co-MVP of our varsity team. Those accomplishments, along with seeing the improvement in myself and in my teammates, was what made my high school season very special. I look forward to next year to go even farther into the playoffs.
I love school and am very dedicated in the classroom; I plan to get my nursing degree in college. I am currently in the top 5% of my junior class, and carry a 4.3 GPA. My grades are a top priority. In my college search I hope to find a strong nursing school and a fun competitive volleyball program.
This 2014-2015 club season I will be playing for Eastside Cleveland Juniors 17 Elite team. Please come watch me play!
