My name is Ali Wittenauer and I am a 5’3 Libero/DS for the class of 2022. I started playing volleyball in 6th grade and have loved playing it ever since I started. Along with volleyball I have played soccer, softball and basketball in my youth years, now fully dedicated my time to volleyball. Volleyball is my passion and I am dedicated to the sport through my club and high school teams with the goal of playing in college.
There are a lot of people in my life that have made me who I am today. My sister with special needs has especially taught me how to be patient, strong and a supportive voice in the community and at school. Through the work I do with my sister and other kids, I have shown the ability to be a leader and advocate for these children. I can share those same leadership skills on the court. I use these strong skills to motivate and support my teammates. I am very competitive on the court and being a good teammate and supporting others is very important to me.
I hope to find a college that fits my athletic and academic abilities. I am 4.0 student, entering my sophomore year in high school. Playing college volleyball has been a goal of mine growing up and I am dedicated to making that goal a reality.
