Mya Jackson '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mya Jackson and I wish to pursue volleyball in college. I have played in school for 8 years, and club 6 years. I started school league as soon as possible, in the 4th grade and began travel/club in the 6th grade. Ever since then I fell in love with volleyball and would love to continue my career beyond high school. For the duration of my high school career at Watkins Memorial High School, I have primarily been a Libero, but was often thrown in as a DS or setter. 

Volleyball, to me, is so much more than a chance to socialize with my friends. Throughout the many years I've played, I learned that hard work and confidence are key factors for success in volleyball. From late practices, to early morning tournaments, volleyball has been something I can look forward to improving day by day. This being said, I am fully committed to taking my career to the next level and would love to be considered for your team.
