Personal Statement
As a student-athlete, I value being apart of a team and the idea of contributing to something bigger than myself. Volleyball has given me many opportunities throughout my life, all of which I am beyond grateful for. The game has shaped me to be versatile, accountable, dedicated, and to value hard work. When I am on the court I am a level-headed player who can move quickly past personal mistakes. Being able to adjust to such situations allows me to play more effectively and lead by example. I am constantly striving to play smarter and execute quicker.
My ideal fit would be an institution where I can pursue excellence academically and athletically. I hope to join a program where I can make an impact on those around me, both in the gym and in the community. As a collegiate student-athlete, I will conduct myself with honor and dignity on and off the court knowing that I represent my team, my coaches, and the institution for which I play.
