Personal Statement
In college, I want to study nursing, but I may continue my education to be a nurse practioner or PA. I am also interested in participating in an ROTC program while in college. Growing up in a family that is financially challenged has taught me how much hard work is worth and the reward of working to earn something rather than having it given to you for free. I was raised to have a good work ethic and be a strong leader. Having three years of experience as a varsity player and member of the superintendent's list makes me stand out against other recruits. Throughout my high school career, I have received many awards academically including 8 outstanding student awards, Freshman Class Vice President, Sophomore and Junior Class President, National Honor Society Membership, and Superintendent's List 4.0 for 3 years. I have also been successful athletically earning 6 varsity letters, 2017 Honorable Mention Volleyball, and participating in 3 OSAA State Championship Competitions.
