Personal Statement
I have always been a driven and goal oriented individual, striving to be the best version of myself I can be. I hold myself to the highest standards when it comes to morals, ethics, and character. I would describe myself as a leader on my team and in my school. Although athletics has always been a huge part of my life, academics has and always will be my top priority. At the end of my college experience I hope to have a degree in the medical field focusing on either, nursing or medical imaging. My accumulative GPA of 3.79 and 22 college transferable credits, as of my junior year, is proof of my commitment to academics. I am hoping to double that number upon graduation.
For as long as I can remember, one of my main athletic goals has been to play volleyball at the collegiate level. I have been a four year high school varsity letterman, chosen as captain of my varsity team and was honored as 4A Far West League "Setter of the Year". I was also recognized by OSAA as "Player of the Week" for the state of Oregon, as well as, by Oregon Live News for being one of the top high school setters in the state for 2018.
I feel I am a very well rounded individual able to take on multiple tasks at one time. Being involved in athletics, having a part time job, maintaining good grades, as well as volunteering my time in the community is evidence of that. I hope to meet some of you and have further discussions in the future.
