Personal Statement
I started playing volleyball in 7th grade. Before that I was a competitive gymnast. I thrive on competitiveness and game strategy, that is why I love volleyball and dream of playing at the collegiate level. I know my goals are set high, but my years as a gymnast taught me to be a hard worker. I am a team leader, I've been captain my last 3 seasons, and take initiative when needed. My coaches tell me I am very coachable, and I strive to always be in a mental position to learn and improve. I play for the glory of God and my team, not for myself. I want to find a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court, while playing at the highest level possible.
