I have been playing women’s volleyball since 5th grade, both for school and club teams. I enjoy everything about the game – strategy, working as a team, athletic development and personal growth. Volleyball is a team effort and I enjoy being a contributing member of whatever team I am playing on. While volleyball is important and enjoyable, so are good grades. I work hard to maintain a strong academic standing and GPA and currently continue to hold 1st academic honors. I am also active in our school Interact club, Catholic Athletes for Christ, and the Teens for Tots program. I have worked to provide 124 hours of volunteer service and have been a coach every year at our high school youth volleyball camp. After high school I plan to attend a college where I can study either Sports Management or be a part of their business program. Playing college level women’s volleyball is also a big part of those plans. I want to be a contributor to the success of my college team and hope to be considered for that opportunity.
