Kristin Volavka '18 Recruiting Profile

I am a junior from Delaware Valley High School in Milford, PA. Currently, my cumulative GPA is 3.59 and I am proud to say that I am a member of the National Honor Society. I have been a setter on the varsity volleyball team since freshman year. We run a 5:1 on my team. I feel I have great leadership skills now because of the position I play. One of my biggest accomplishments and highlights of my season was beating Holy Redeemer who has not lost in 188 games. We have won districts six years in a row. I have played travel volleyball for the past three years. The travel team I am currently playing for is Allegro Volleyball Club.

I started playing volleyball in 7th grade and since then I have grown to love the game. I hope to play volleyball in college as a setter. I feel that having been on different teams and working with different coaches, has made me a well rounded player. I set goals for myself during each season and I challenge myself to be the best I can be. At this point I have not decided on a major so I will be entering into a Liberal Arts program.
