Sabrina George '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since I was eight years old. Since I first stepped on the court I have desired to play at the collegiate level. Playing volleyball in college could change my entire life, and it is a once in a lifetime experience that not many get to have. 

I have a high volleyball IQ, excellent stamina, motivation, and quickness, expertise in my chosen position, ability to play every position, and physical strength. I am coachable and enjoy critique. I assist my coaches by leading practices and pushing my team toward success. I am a team leader and have been named captain on most teams I have been on, including both school and club volleyball. I lead my teammates by example and possess a personal connection with each and everyone of them. 

I strive to be one of the hardest working players on and off the court, and one of the hardest working recruits you will find. I play volleyball all year, participating in school volleyball for ten years, and club volleyball for seven years. I also participated in many years of middle school basketball, along with personal workouts and training in the weight room which all contribute to my athleticism. 

Academically, I have attended Catholic school from kindergarten through twelfth grade. I am passionate about my faith which drives me to study hard to maintain a high GPA. I volunteer for my parish, St. Paul of the Cross, including their annual fish fry and parish fair. I volunteer for Seton LaSalle's girls youth volleyball camps in the summer, and also attend many team sports games with incredible school spirit. 

I am going to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the volleyball court. I am determined to find the best fit college at the highest level of competition. I strive to become a substantial role model to the people in my community, and make my family proud.
