Alesha Humphrey '10 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alesha Humphrey and I am 17 years old. I'm 5'2" and weigh 120 lbs. This senior year I received ALL District as well as All- Tournament for the Division 11AAA I have an intense passion for the game of volleyball and would be truly honored to have a chance to play in college. I love playing defense and enjoy the high intense feeling that comes with it. I certainly don't mind sacrificing my body to keep the ball from hitting the ground. It's my duty. I have been honored with the oppurtunity of being a captain during a few seasons of high school and club volleyball. I have a drive for pushing my teamates to be the best they can be and know that a good leader on the court can lead to amazing results for the entire team. I would love having a chance to play for all 4 years of college. The division of the school is not what seems most important to me as is the chance to play and the exciting team bonding experiences that would come with it. I'm excited about finding that right fit for me where I can focus on building a stronger education as well as being able to participate and enjoy a sport that has given so much to me. I'm all for new experiences and would love to attend a school anywhere in the U.S. I would like to major in design as well as entrepreneurship.
