My goal for college is to play in a competitive environment while getting the most out of the experience and, hopefully, make big contributions to my team along the way. Academically, I am looking for a school that will enable me to reach my goals of a career in the medical field.
As a recruit, I stand out because I am mentally tough and value team success over individual success.
I've dreamed of playing volleyball since 1st grade, when I told my mom that I wanted to be a "server", then put my hands up to set. I can't remember a time when volleyball wasn't a part of our lives - my older sister played collegiate volleyball at Texas Woman's University. Volleyball has been an incredible teacher and influence on my life. Through it I have learned strategy and how to overcome adversity but at the same time how to be a good sport and be truly happy for another's success. Basically, volleyball has taught me how to be good at life.
