Tahirah Aatiq '16 Recruiting Profile

I always have been, and will always be a dedicated, hardworking student-athlete.  I've been playing volleyball since 7th grade and have held the captain position for multiple years.  I have been on the Honor Roll annually and take challenging courses in order to prepare myself for college. I plan on obtaining at least a Master's in Architecture so that I will be able to revolutionize the poor, torn down neighborhoods across my city.  Academically, I've been accepted to the top 3 schools of my choice, and am postponing commitment in hopes of being able to play collegiate volleyball because I love the sport. I have a positive mental attitude, always motivate and encourage my teammates, play smart,  and am extremely coachable.
