Aiden Garcia '13 Recruiting Profile

As a Freshman, I was a Varsity starter  was named our District Newcomer of the Year. I was named the District MVP as a Sophomore and again as a Junior. I was named to the TWSA All-State Third Team as a sophomore and All-State Honorable mention as a junior.

I am the team captain for both my varsity team as well as my club volleyball team. I have played right side hitter, left side hitter, and have had to move to the middle this year because that is where my team needed me the most. This year I have the opportunity to play all the way around. I am extremely interested in continuing to play volleyball in college. I am not afraid to travel and would be willing to play in any state and at any college that offers my major. Although I haven't decided on an exact field of study, I am considering majoring in  Physical or Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology,or Pharmacy. I have challenged myself with every Pre-AP and AP classes that I could take to better prepare myself for college coursework.  I also am participating in an Health Science Occupation Program through my school that will allow me to be a certified Pharmacy Technician by the time I graduate high school.  If I need to work in college, I am hoping to utilize this certification.  We are a middle income family. I think my parents will make too much money for me to qualify for grants, but I will need financial assistance to be able to attend college.
