Ever since I was young I've wanted to be involved in volleyball, I loved the thrill and excitement from each game. I knew that I would want to dedicate my time and effort into a sport that I found completely satisfying. Volleyball is not just a sport to me but it is my escape. I have realized throughout these past few years that volleyball is a life lesson. It has taught me numerous things in life, for instance, learning to adjust to the ball when the set isn't perfect which could relate to certain situations in life and learning to adapt to whatever life hands you. It teaches you how to work on team building and structures each athlete to always try and maintain a positive attitude, not only in sports but in life as well. You learn good sportsmanship and develop certain qualities that you would never think of having. Personally this sport has helped me grow as a person and I am grateful to be able to be involved in a sport that brings out the best in me.
