Delia Rivas '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Delia Elysia Rivas. I am a 5'2 defensive specialist born and raised in El Paso, Texas.  I grew up playing different sports my entire life and even though I narrowed it down to my favorite, (volleyball) I was always known to be the player that hustled the most whether I was on the court, field or even dojo. I love pushing myself to work hard and doing my best to push those around me the same. Being a captain/leader for multiple organizations has driven me to work even harder on and off the court because I want to set a good example for those around me.  I am also a TAFE club member, student- teacher, peer mentor at my church and Dual Enrollment student.  Although this is all very important to me, I put my faith and my family above all which has built my character in the best possible ways.
