Dee-Andrea Grant '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello all,

Let me start by saying I am most excited about the chance to further my education by attending college. If there is anyway that I can also play volleyball in college - i will be LIVING THE DREAM. I believe you can ask any coach I've ever had for any sport and ALL will tell you that I am the most dedicated, hardest working athlete they have coached. I am a very athletic person and am motivated to be the best or one of the best in everything I do.
I tryed out for Cheerleading and both years I made head cheerleader.
I played basketball for 2 years and made the A team both years.
I run track and have made it to District/Regionals every year. (200, 4x2, 4x4)
I played soccer for the first time this year and not only made Varsity. I was awarded the 'All District Defender'.
Volleyball is my favorite sport. Although I do not have the heighth, I am an awesome player all the way around the court. I am a Libero & back row DS but was also used as front row/outside hitter because I have the strength & muscles to jump. I love veolleyball and have participated in summer camps every year so I would get extra practice during the off season.
If given the opportunity, i know I can make you proud. I am a hard worker and will put everything into this opportunity as I am EAGER to learn. Sports have always been such a big part of my life as I have been blessed to be a 'natural athlete'.
I hope to become a Sports Physical Therapist (sport medicine, fitness). I would love to continue my life in this field as it is second nature to me.
