Aubrey Whatley '27 Recruiting Profile

I'm very passionate about volleyball and would love to pursue it at a high level. I believe I'm a good fit for the setting position because I enjoy the challenges that come with it. I believe being a setter is a very important role on the court and it’s important to be a leader on and off the court. Being a setter, I have a responsibility of learning all the girls on my team and learn their strengths and weaknesses to set them up for success. My junior high coach and club coach both have told me they see the leader in me, and I would love to live up to that. I'm driven and hardworking who will always give 100%. I’ve been playing volleyball since I was 7 at the YMCA and I can’t imagine my life without it. It has shaped me into who I am today. 
I'm just as passionate about academics as I am about volleyball. I strive to keep good grades and stay ahead of all my schoolwork. I also love the idea of coaching a volleyball team as an adult.
