On the court, you will see that I have strong court intelligence, with the ability to read hitters & run aggressive combinations. I have always been told that I have great coachability, and coaches have many times complimented me on my ability to adjust in the middle of a game. I have been praised for my consistency in serves as well as the success of my jump serves. My early experience as a libero contributes to my all-around abilities. That is the volleyball player that is Reanna Miller.
My collegiate goals and aspirations include being successful academically and athletically so that when I graduate college, I will have collected many positive experiences that will arm me with the ability to take on life confidently. I have lived in a small town almost my entire life, however, from a young age I stepped up to be a leader among my peers. This personality trait will benefit your team and I think that you will appreciate my quiet confidence as well as the energy that I bring to the spirit of the team. As a setter, my natural leadership skills are paramount. Faith is an integral thread to what defines who I am. My character on and off the court is directly affected by my beliefs and where I desire to be in the near and far future. Kopperl's class of 2018 is one of the most competitive academically that Kopperl has seen in many years. My peers and I keep one another sharp and I do not doubt that this passion for education will die down when I become a collegiate athlete.
What does a coach want in an athlete?
Higher level experience on the court: In 2016, I led my team to a State Runner-Up finish at State, In 2015, I represented the USA in Italy and brought a bronze medal home, I have played for TAV for several years and even made an appearance at Nationals with Texas Image's top team. I have the experience you need.
Character: In 2015, I began a grass roots program to provide toiletries, seasonal clothing and bedding to the homeless in Fort Worth called, "Project Privilege." I have volunteered for our town's little league since I was 14 years old, helping to coach athletes younger than me.
Leadership Skills: Since my Freshman year, I have been selected as Captain by my coaches for every sport I played, On every team, I have a leadership position such as setter, point guard and pitcher, I am the treasurer of Kopperl High School's Student Council, I also hold a seat on the Region 12 Gear Up Leadership Congress, and I am in NHS.
I am very interested in attending a college that will allow me to pursue my volleyball dreams while attaining a college education. Please contact me if you would like to meet with me. I am open to visit invitations and open gyms as long as my schedule allows.
