Sports have always been a big part of my life and have made me what I've become today, but volleyball has had the most impact. I truly love the sport so much and it has taught me leadership skills, how to work together, and how to grow as a person. I’ve been playing since I was 9 and have continued to grow athletically. I’ve learned a lot through my time playing, that the things that I aspire to do aren’t going to come easily. Therefore, I try to play as if it’s my last time and to always be working my hardest for my goals.
Education is a big part of my life already and I believe that it needs to be carried through high school and college. I always aspire to work hard in the classroom and on the court. Many of the teachers, coaches, and my family have pushed me to become a hard worker in everything I do. Through the rough parts of my life, volleyball was always something that I could count on and look forward to even when things weren’t going right. As a player I’m looking for a program that is going to be a good fit for me, athletically and educationally. I believe that I have all of the characteristics that a good college player needs. Having been a three-sport athlete and a team captain, I think I have all the qualities to be a great player and student!
